I decided to go thrifting after an appointment in the city. I brought TONNES of stuff that I will post photographs of in the near future! I picked up this fantastic orange cape (thing) which is great because orange is my favourite dress colour! :D

Grad Fund Raising Dinner

Our graduation night for year 12 in November costs a total of $28,000! That is a big number...so we started a graduation comity to help think of ideas for fund raising :)
So last night we had a lovely dinner cooked by our hospitality class!
It was a lovely night. I wore this:

Bowling & Roller Derby

On Saturday night Jessica and I went bowling! After that we headed to a Roller Derby, haha. All the team mates had really cute Rockabilly names :)

Place

Our assignment title was "Place". We had to incorporate place into art. I chose photography/photo manipulation.
An average of seventy four species become extinct every day. Scary, huh? So I decided to go with something personal. The idea behind the series is Lack of Place. The idea that we are ruining their world too, not just ours. I placed random African animals among and inside locations close to were I live and were I have been. This is how they turned out:

Avatar - The Movie

Just to clarify, the Avatar series is my favourite tv show EVER. I adore everything about the series. Everything...
When I found out M.Night Shyamalan was making an Avatar movie I almost broke down. If it is anything like the Dragon Ball Z movie I will probably be crying for weeks and burn down the cinema when it is released.
It doesn't look promising:

Hitler was Jesus' revenge so I will be M.Night Shyamalan's hitler.

This is my work

My day involves opening, checking my emails and when customers come in I dress them up in either Victorian, Roaring 20s, or Wild West costumes.
