Place

Our assignment title was "Place". We had to incorporate place into art. I chose photography/photo manipulation.
An average of seventy four species become extinct every day. Scary, huh? So I decided to go with something personal. The idea behind the series is Lack of Place. The idea that we are ruining their world too, not just ours. I placed random African animals among and inside locations close to were I live and were I have been. This is how they turned out:
