Today I received an anonymous comment on one of my posts, this is what he/she said:

"I admire you for trying to bring your humor into your blog, but seriously some things are not funny (ie rape, the term "pussy," and other derogatory words or comments). Some things (ie peninsaurus) are funny while not being a punch in the gut to others.

Yes, it's fun to be silly and immature, but there are some times when you really need to grow up."

That was really uncalled for.
Well, Mr. Anonymous, I have the right to free thought and free speech. Its your choice whether you agree or disagree with my jokes. Not everyone can have the same beliefs. It is just a bit of black humour.
If an audience attends a comedy festival that has been advertised to contain black humor, they expect black humor. Someone who is easily offended would not attend a comedy festival if they didn’t like offensive jokes. Someone offended by taboo subjects are not forced to watch taboo television programs. They are not forced to attend comedy festivals that contain black humor. These shows, events and blogs are simply available to those who wish to watch, attend and visit them.
To be completely honest I think people have more important things to worry about than taking offense to a joke.

The Marquis de Sade

Last night Jenna-bean had a couple of people over to watch some movies. When I arrived Jessica gave me my birthday present, a book with all of The Marquis de Sades works! :D

Just to clarify, he is my favorite author, ever. He was just so fantastically absurd in every way and his insanity fascinates me :) (Read more about him here)

Tinnanbar

School is over and holidays have begun! This weekend myself and 7 of my closest friends are all going away to Tinnanbar, a great little secluded holiday town with white sand and beautiful crystal clear water :)
Tomorrow we leave on a 2 hour drive then arrive at our holiday home and relax until Monday. I am so relaxed, and excited.

My amazing lolcats inspired cake! The adults didn't get it, hehe I figure they sat there and said "Wow, she is 18 and still cant use correct grammar..."

I couldn't have asked for anything better for my 18th! Friends, family, the whole bundle! Thank you everyone that came :)

Suitcase & Wallet

First of all...*wets pants in excitement*

My grandmother walked in with this suitcase and asked me if I liked it and, of course, I screamed. Suitcases fascinate me. Just the though of how many places they have been with one persons necessities is just amazing.
She told me it was her fathers from the war in the 20s! Now you get why I figuratively wet my pants. I cant beleive she let me have it. I love you grandma :)

I also brought myself this fantastically cute wallet! Happy Birthday from me to me, hehe!

Celebrations at School!

I have had the most fantastic weekend :D
Three whole days of celebrations for my 18th! I will post each day separately just so all the photos can have a go ;)
So Friday at school was such a fun day with friends (even though I wasn't eighteen till the next day!) and we had cake and hugs and a picnic!
